Nitoli Sheqi / Ph.D. 2018 / From India

GIT is a place where you are not just thought theology as an academic exercise, but are challenged to rethink issues facing the world through the contextual lens of theology and vice versa. The lecture series and classroom discussions accommodate a different spectrum of ideas and worldviews. I am immensely grateful for the opportunity to be part of this diverse community, which is unconventional in every sense (a learning experience in itself).

As I rejoined teaching ministry back in Nagaland, India, I must say that the enriching experience I had at GIT has further enhanced my teaching and community building skills. More importantly, it has helped me to stay contextually relevant.
