1. All application materials must be submitted through GIT online application system (LINK WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER ON). As for the recomendation letters, the referees should send their letters to gitoffice@yonsei.ac.kr or send them (sealed) to the following address:

85 Songdogwahak-ro, Yeonsu-gu, Incheon, South Korea (Zip code: 21983).

 

2. The Admissions Committee WON'T consider belated applications. We do NOT accept applicants who don't make an online application through our website.

 

3. Please note applicants can be asked if necessary to submit hard-copy application materials to GIT Office. Once submitted, application documents cannot be returned.

 

4. Please check whether you put your contact information without typo on the application form. All information regarding applications will be informed through the individual emails written on the application.

 

5. Information on visa, orientation and course enrollment will be sent to individual emails written on the applications.

 

 

Admission Requirements Eligibility

Master of Theology (Th.M.): A graduate or near graduate of 4 year college education on theological studies acquisition (or of similar achievement) or of master degree on theological studies with the grade point average of at least 2.5 on a 4.0 scale. Proficiency in the English language (if any); TOEFL - PBT 570, CBT 230, IBT 88 (with sub scores of at least 20 in each of the test's four sections), IELTS - Over all 6.5 (each no less than 6.0) or Degree earned in the program taught in English.

 

Doctor of Theology (Ph.D.): A graduate or candidate of master degree on theological Studies acquisition (or of similar achievement) with the grade point average of at least 2.5 on a 4.0 scale. Proficiency in the English language (if any); TOEFL - PBT 600, CBT 250, IBT 100 (with sub scores of at least 20 in each of the test's four sections), IELTS - Over all 7.0 (each no less than 6.5) or Degree earned in the program taught in English.

  •   8. Certificate of Official English Language Test (minimum score within last 2 years)
  •   The institutional code for reporting your scores to Yonsei University is 9893. Only scores submitted by ETS and IELTS are official. If you are educated English based institution more than 2 years with official degree higher than college level, you are waived to submit English test score. If this applies to you, please send us an Official Proof for your English Test Score Waive (For example, A certificate of official document stating that English is the medium of teaching courses at *** University where (applicant’s name) has attended from *** to ***.).
