[Graduation Ceremony and Gown Rental Information for February 2024 Graduates]

We sincerely congratulate all Master's and Doctoral graduates from the United Theological Seminary on your graduation. Below are the details regarding the graduation ceremony and gown rental. Please take note and grace the occasion with your presence.

I. Graduation Ceremony

[Yonsei University Comprehensive Graduation Ceremony]

 - Date: February 26, 2024 (Monday), at 11:30 AM

 - Venue: Yonsei University Auditorium

 - Entrance: Graduates will be guided into the auditorium by staff members before the ceremony.

Please note that entry to the first floor of the auditorium will be restricted once the ceremony begins. Graduates planning to attend are advised to cooperate with the guidance of the staff.

[United Graduate School of Theological / College of Theology Graduation Ceremony]

 - Date: February 26, 2024 (Monday), at 2:00 PM

 - Venue: Underwood Theological Building 2F Chapel, Yonsei University

 - Note: This is a ceremony organized by the United Graduate School of Theology/ College of Theology, 

   where diplomas will be presented directly to all graduates.

 - Photography: Group photos with faculty will be taken in front of the chapel after the ceremony.

   Photos will be shared with the graduates for download after the ceremony.

▣ Please note that traffic around Sinchon area and on campus will be very congested on the day of the ceremony. We recommend using public transportation.

II. Gown Rental and Diploma Distribution

Gown and Cap Distribution (For Master's Graduates)

- Location: The United Graduate School of Theology Administration Office (Underwood Theological Building, Room 113). Distribution will take place from February 20 (Tuesday) to February 26 (Monday). Graduates are required to present their ID and receipt for the cleaning and storage fee of the gown to collect their items. If someone is collecting on behalf of a graduate, they must bring the graduate’s ID and receipt.

- Distribution Times:

February 20 (Tuesday) to February 23 (Friday): 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM

February 26 (Monday): 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM

- Cleaning and Storage Fee: 7,000 KRW for Master's graduates (to be paid via virtual account) [How to make payment: Yonsei Portal > Academic Information System > Graduation > Gown(학위가운)

- Library Books: Graduates with unreturned library books must return them to the Library and obtain a clearance certificate before receiving their gown and cap.

▣ Doctoral Gown: Doctoral candidates are responsible for preparing their own gown, hood, and cap. Please contact gown suppliers directly, such as Chunchoo (http:/chunchoo.co.kr, 02-312-6661) or Sungui Shop (http://www.gown21.com, 02-754-7650) for inquiries.

III. Return of Gown and Cap and Diploma Distribution

Return and Collection: Graduates must return their gown and cap to the Administration Office and collect their “Diploma” by 4:30 PM on February 26, 2024 (Monday).

Note: Failure to return the gown and cap will result in a suspension of certificate issuance.
