Vaccination Guide for Foreign Nationals in Korea
□ Vaccination with a Temporary Code for Illegal Residents
Korean government has improved the temporary code issuance process as follows to enhance the participation of illegal residents in getting their COVID-19 vaccine vaccinated, please refer to the following regulation.
* International students who are aware of the revised regulation should let their acquaintance know in network meetings, etc.
❍ In the case of an unregistered foreigner (who is not affiliated with the workplace), we will omit the process of checking their identification via passports and alien registration cards. We will make an improvement to enable students to issue the temporary management number if there is contactable information such as mobile phone number (own or acquaintance), e-mail address, residential address, etc.
※ Requests such as mobile phone number or personal information are for the arrangement of second vaccination schedule and management of adverse reaction caused by vaccines.

Foreigners without valid passports can issue their temporary code if they are confirmed as a foreign worker who can be managed from the workplace or if they present their identification document such as expired passport, expired alien registration certificate, etc.
※ In the case where he/she is identified as a foreigner belonging to the workplace, identification of personal information such as passport, alien registration certificate, etc., of the person being vaccinated can be omitted.
When issuing an unregistered foreigner temporary code, if there are information such as mobile phone number (own or acquaintance), e-mail address, residential address, and etc., for the purpose of managing 2nd and additional vaccination schedule, and adverse reaction caused by vaccines, he/she can still issue the temporary management number.
※ Regardless of whether an Illegal resident belongs to the workplace, identification procedures through passports, alien registration certificates, and etc. can be omitted.
□ Improved Vaccination Guide for Foreign Nationals(include Illegal Residents) in Korea
❍ Procedure : (Offline Registration) → (Temporary Code Issuance) → (Pre-registration) → (Vaccination and Reservation)
* Offline registration can cause huge crowd happenings of vaccine recipients and shortages of vaccine supplies, so if early closure happens, please get vaccinated after making a reservation.
❍ Period : Every Fridays 10:00~14:00 “(Same-day vaccination) Foreigners arrange their own appointment date”
❍ Place : Health Center 2F vaccination room
❍ Preparations : Identification documents such as passport, alien registration certificate, etc.
(Current) Foreigners without valid passports can issue their temporary code
if they present their identification document such as
expired passport, expired alien registration certificate, etc.
(Revised) Foreigners can issue the temporary code if there are information such as
mobile phone number (own or acquaintance), e-mail address,
residential address, and etc., for the purpose of managing adverse reactions
caused by vaccines.
❍ Type of Vaccine : Janssen Vaccine (Above the age of 30, one dose) or Pfizer Vaccine (Below the age of 30, two doses)
* Eligible recipients for Pfizer who are below the age of 30 should issue temporary code and get vaccinated at the vaccine center (until 10.29) or health center (after 11.1).
❍ Inquiries: Vaccination Center (02-330-1829, 8915, 3804, 6728)
* In the case of foreigners who have their alien registration certificate and are already registered for the national health insurance service, please reserve online ncvr.kdca.go.kr and get vaccinated at the consigned medical institution.
