*** The defense meetings will be held via "Zoom" due to the prevention instructions against the global pandemic of the Covid-19.

A. Submission of "Final" Thesis Manuscript: (Wed) June 9th, 2021

  - How to Submit: send an email to: 1) thesis supervisor & all examiners, 2) GIT Director(hyunskim@yonsei.ac.kr), 3) GIT Office(gitoffice@yonsei.ac.kr), & 4) Yonsei Library Thesis Team (yspaper@yonsei.ac.kr)

 - Things to be submitted (MANDATORY):

    (1) Declaration of Ethical Conduct in Research (연구윤리서약서): [Click Here]

    (2) Copy of preliminary thesis manuscript (both in PDF or MS Word format)

        * You MUST follow the specific thesis format designated by Yonsei University: [Click Here]

    (3) Copy of a digital receipt of "Turnitin" (plagiarism checker)

    (4) Full copy of similarity report in "Turnitin" which certifies lower than 6%

    (5) Revisions Schedule (attached, recommended to submit): please describe your corrections work in detail according to the examiners' feedback so far.

  - If your thesis reader(s) further ask you to submit a hard copy, you need to prepare the printed copy before the defense.

B. Final Defense: middle of June (TBA)
  - Eligibility: Students who have passed the preliminary defense

  - The thesis supervisor will give the specific date and time of the online thesis examination via zoom.

  - It is the candidate's responsibility to keep communicating with the thesis supervisor during the defense period.

All examination process will be conducted only for candidates who submit a dissertation manuscript. Please note that students MUST KEEP all the guidelines and schedules designated by the school in order to complete their degrees.
