Graduate students who are preparing thesis defense for graduation in February 2019 should follow the guidelines below and submit their dissertation for the examination.

[Schedule]

A. 1^st Draft Submission: (Wednesday) October 17^th, 2018

(Dissertations submitted after the deadline will not be processed. Please submit your original copies to GIT administrative office in Songdo or UGST office in Sinchon. If you are outside in Korea, please send the pdf to gitoffice@yonsei.ac.kr first and make your flight schedule as soon as possible)

B. 1st Read: 2:00PM~, (Friday) October 26^th, 2018 (The detail schedule will be assigned to each candidate)

C. 2nd Draft Submission: by 5:00PM (Friday) December 7th, 2018 (Please submit to SINCHON CAMPUS , UGST Office)

D. Final defense: 10:00AM~, (Monday) December 17^th, 2018

(Examination process will be conducted only for candidates who submit dissertation manuscripts. The detail schedule will be assigned to each candidate)

[Submission]

(The following steps should be taken “before” preliminary submission deadline for preliminary or final examinations.)

A. Submit a copy of "Declaration of Ethical Conduct in Research" (Form download).

B. Submit a copy of "copy killer" or "turnitin" (a plagiarism checker) result report

C. The original file of dissertation (either in Hangeul(HWP), MS Word or PDF format) - this file must be submitted to "yspaper@yonsei.ac.kr".

D. Dissertation manuscripts for preliminary & final Examination (Masters : 3 copies, Ph.D : 5 copies)

* Documents B and D must be firstly submitted to the GIT administrative office in order to get stamped, and finally submitted to each committee examiners.
