How to Rent a Graduation Gown/Cap/Hood (for Th.M. Students)

A. Th.M. students must pay 7,000KRW of rental fee to borrow graduation gown (The bill will appear on Yonsei Portal during the designated period with the valid virtual bank account details. Payment through credit/debit card is NOT available)
- How to pay: http://portal.yonsei.ac.kr -> login -> Academic information -> Academic information management -> Academic records -> 학위가운대여 Borrowing Gown (laundry-keeping fee payment) -> check the individual virtual account number -> Make a payment

B. Where to Pick up the Gown: (TBA), at UGST Office (#113, 1st floor of UGST Bld., Sinchon campus)
* Borrowing Gown is only available if you show your student ID card and a receipt of the rental fee payment.

C. Please note you have to return the gown after the graduation ceremony to receive your degree certificate. If you do not return the costumes, the degree certificate will NOT be provided.

How to Prepare Graduation Gown/Cap/Hood (for Ph.D. Students)

Ph.D. graduates should prepare their graduation gown, cap, and hood by themselves.

A. Location: 50m from the main gate of Ehwa Women's Univ. (10 Ewhayeodae 8-gil, Seodaemun-gu, Seoul / 서울 서대문구 이화여대8길 10)

* Start on exit 3 of Ewha Univ. station, subway line 2 -> Go 150 meters toward the main entrance of Ewha Univ. (To the 3rd corner) -> Chunchoo is located at about 20-meter distance on the RIGHT side of a hill

C. Price

[For Rental] -- 100,000 KRW, rentable for a maximum 3 days (you can pick it up on the day before the graduation ceremony and return on the next day of graduation. No prior rental available)

[For Purchase]

a) 400,000 KRW (polyester 100%)

b) 550,000 KRW (wool 80%, domestic fabric (Je-il Ind. in Korea))

c) 1,000,000 KRW ---> 750,000 KRW on sale by Aug 31st 2022 (wool 100%, imported fabric (Ariston made by Italy)) 

* Since 2022, the type with polyester 50% & wool 50% is out of stock.

D. How to Order ***

- (By visit) Visit the tailor's shop or call the number above (English available) or send an e-mail to chunchusa@gmail.com including your personal information (name, school, degree, graduation date, order/rental, contact number).

- (Online order (free delivery)) Please fill out the online form at: http://www.chunchoo.com/eng/ > Click [Online Order] and put your personal information and detail size.

* When writing the form, please put the following information for the tailor's reference.
