Spring 2026 Semester Degree Thesis Submission Guide


To all students submitting degree theses for the Spring 2026 semester, please carefully review the following information and proceed accordingly with the degree thesis submission process.


1. Online Submission of Thesis File (PDF)


a. Submission Period: 2026. 7. 2. (Thur) ~ 7. 10. (Fri) 16:00 (Accessible 24 hours during the period)

b. Submission Method: Submit via the Library Degree Thesis Submission System (https://dcollection.yonsei.ac.kr

c. Important Notices

1) Required Reading for Submitters: Please refer to the attached document titled "Online Thesis Submission Guide and FAQ."
2) Submission

     - Thesis File (PDF): This file must include the approval page listing all committee members' names. However, the approval page included in the thesis file must not contain any actual signatures or seals.
     - Signed Approval Page (PDF): This should be a separate one-page PDF file of the approval page. This file must include the committee members' actual signatures or seals next to their names. In the case of online approval through the portal system, the approval date and time will appear below each committee member's name.

 *Please refer to the guidelines page 16 for more details.
3) When entering the thesis title in the library's online thesis submission system, follow these guidelines:
 - Title: Must match the title on the thesis cover page. (Copy-paste from the cover is recommended.)
 - Second Language Title: Use the translated title found in the second language abstract, thesis cover page, or submission documents.

4) When entering the thesis title in the Yonsei Portal, it must exactly match the title entered in the library's online thesis submission system. (Copying and pasting from the library title is recommended.)
 - Capitalization, spacing, and special characters must match exactly.
 - If a "Title Mismatch" is flagged during the thesis information verification stage in the Yonsei Portal, update the title in the Portal to match the library version.
 - Only typographical errors in the library title may be corrected. Other mismatches cannot be changed.


2. Making Revisions After Submission
a. During the Submission Period

- You may click “Request Resubmission” in your submission history to withdraw your thesis, make the necessary revisions, and resubmit it.
 - To revise metadata, submit a request via Google Form.

b. After the Submission Period

- Revisions are only allowed for clearly identifiable typos or formatting errors.

1) A formal request must be submitted through your affiliated department or graduate school via official letter, which must arrive by the day before the graduation ceremony (February 22, 2026).

2) The student must make the revisions themselves and attach the updated thesis file to the official document. The document must also include a description of the changes made.

3) No changes are allowed after the graduation ceremony.
