[Thesis] Thesis Submission Guide (for Aug. 2022 Graduates)

We sincerely congratulate all of you who accomplished the final result of study in Yonsei University.
The thesis files you submit will be provided as online full-text services through the dCollection of the Yonsei University Library and RISS of the Korea Education and Research Information Service. In addition, 2 copies of the papers are kept at the Yonsei University Library for archiving / reading, and one at the National Library of Korea and the National Assembly Library.
Please cooperate in the submission process so that your valuable research results can be used for future research and academic development.


1. Online Submission
 A. Period:  (Fri) June 24th, 2022 ~ (Thu) June 30th, 2022 (24 hours available)

 B. How to Submit: Dissertation online submission site ( http://dcollection.yonsei.ac.kr) -> Login with your Yonsei Portal ID/PW -> Submit
  - Please refer to the online submission manual (attached file) for submission method and copyright setting.
 C. File format:pdf only (other formats can cause page breakage, picture/chart breakage, etc.)
 D. Verification work time: 9:00 ~ 17:00, during submission period
  - For checking the metadata you entered and whether there are any problems with the submitted file, etc.
  - After the verification, the approval process is performed manually by the administrator. Normally, it is approved within 1 business day, but it may take longer if the deadline is near and the submitter is driven.
  - Please check your thesis status on the ‘dCollection – Submit history’ page.

Click on the title of the paper to complete the resubmission process.

Resubmission process has been completed after the return. Please wait for verification by the administrator.

Submit complete

Approved

Your submission has been approved after the verification. Please print and bind your thesis.
Please print the License Agreement and Submit Confirmation of submission and submit it together with the submission.


2. Book Thesis Submission

A. Period: (Fri) July 1st, 2022 ~ (Fri) July 8th, 2022  weekdays 09:00~17:00 

- On July 8th(Fri), the office will be open till 20:00.

B. Where to Submit: Library Exhibition Hall (1F, Yonsei-Samsung Library, Sinchon Campus)

C. Items to Submit

 Hard-bound thesis

Required: 4 copies of Master or Doctoral Thesis with hard cover

- One of the copies must have the 'original' thesis approval sheet signed 

by all members of the advisory committee. (Others can have a scanned page.)

- 5 copies are required for online private thesis or Department of Law thesis.

 License Agreement Form

Required: 1 copy
- With the author’s signature

 Submisson Confirmation Form

(제출확인서)

Required: 1 copy

- Please get confirmation stamp from the thesis submission office.
- Submit it to 
The administrative office(113호, Underwood Theology Hall), 

  The United Graduate School of Theology.














* License Agreement and Submit Confirmation can be printed out on the ‘dCollection – Submit history’ page, after online submission is approved.


3. Online Survey (Mandatory for Ph.D. candidates)
A. Doctoral degree recipients have to cooperate with the online survey of the Korea Research Institute for Vocational Education & Training (KRIVET) at http://www.narastat.kr/emdh

B. Please complete the online research survey at the link above and submit the certificate of survey completionand thesis submission confirmation to The administrative office(113ho, Underwood Theology Hall), The United Graduate School of Theology.


4. Notes

A. The method of writing a dissertation (system) of The United Graduate School of Theology shall be governed by the following regulations on the website of the General Graduate School of Yonsei University (system). However, the affiliation and major shall be entered according to the major marking of The United Graduate School of Theology. (ex. Counseling and coaching major at the United Graduate School of Theology)

B. Please refer to the link below for information on the dissertation writing format (system) of General Graduate School of Yonsei University.

C.  If you want to submit your hard-bound thesis through a third person, please ask your deputy to bring your identification card card (student ID card is OK) when he/her visits the submission office.
D. Please pay close attention to meet the due dates of online/book thesis submission.
