GIT will have comprehensive examinations at the end of August as belows.

- Eligibility: who have completed the 3rd semester, fulfilled at least 30 credits of coursework, and have an English test score (or waived by the English curriculum from the previous institution)

- Date: End of August (TBA) (※ For retaking: July 2nd, 2021)

- Venue: Veritas C 120

For those who want to apply for the comprehensive exams, please send the attached application form to gitoffice@yonsei.ac.kr by Wednesday, June 30th 2021.

You will be informed of the preparation materials (bibliography) on July 2nd by the GIT Office.

(For those who will retake the exams on July 2nd, please choose the only subjects that you need to retake on the application form.)

*** You have to choose one "elective" field which is NOT your major when submitting the application form. You can choose one field among all majors in UGST except your own major. 

[Th.M.] THREE subjects: Major 1, Major 2 and one elective (three subjects in total)

[Ph.D.] FOUR subjects: Major 1, Major 2, Major 3 and one elective (four subjects in total)

If you want to get any advice about choosing your elective, please contact your supervisor or the GIT Director with the following clear information:
  (a) your name, student ID, major field
  (b) the title & Professors' name of courseworks you have taken in GIT so far
