Guidelines for the Withdrawal of 2020 Fall Semester Course(s)



Students who wish to withdraw courses should complete the withdrawal application form signed by both the applicant and the course instructor. Please submit the form to the GIT office within the application period.

(for 2020 Fall semester only, students don't need to get the Professor's signature due to the Covid-19).


1. Use the attached withdrawal application form.


2. Application Period: Tuesday, October 6th 10:00AM ~ Thursday, October 8th 16:00PM


3. Place of Submission: GIT Office (Veritas C 109, Songdo campus) or UGST Office (Underwood Theology Hall 113, Sinchon campus)


4. Remarks

     1) Signatures of the course instructors are required

     2) At least one course needs to remain registered after the withdrawal.

         In addition, a withdrawn course is not replaceable by another class.

     3) Although a withdrawn class has no effect on the GPA, 'W' (withdrawal) will appear as a remark for every

         withdrawn class in the official transcript. 'W' will still be reflected even if you retake the class.

     4) Please ensure that you have written the course code correctly.

     5) Please confirm the record of the course withdrawal at the Yonsei portal site after a week.

          Portal > Academic Management System > Course > Enrollment Status > See "W" mark on 'Withdrawal'
