According to the Ministry of Justice in Korea,

When D-2 visa (student visa) holders applied for a leave of absence or will be graduating,

the visa will be automatically expired.

Accordingly, you must leave Korea within 15 days from the day of application or the commencement day

as your academic data will be reported to the Immigration Office.

Even you have ARC sojourn period, the ARC will also go invalid as your visa expires.

If you want to stay in Korea, you must maintain your enrollment or postpone your graduation.

* For those who have been in their leave of absence, please contact GIT Office in advance in order to receive a new 'certificate of admissions for returning students'. Students must obtain new D-2 visa accordingly.
