Alien Registration Cards (ARC) Application
All non-Korean nationals who are newly enrolled at Yonsei must apply for an Alien registration card within 90 days from the entry date.
All international students MUST hold a D-2 visa (student visa) to maintain student status. If some students have other visa types, they must apply for changing visa type by visiting the immigration office within 1 month from their entry date.
Please note that this is students' responsibility to take all matters related to international affairs such as visas and alien registration cards (ARC). Students should ask the GIT office for help to issue the official documents to submit to the immigration office and secure their visa status. The GIT office cannot make visa/ARC applications on behalf of students.
Apply it as soon as possible. You can get the card a month after you apply. The time is announced ‘ARC Extension’ part separately(within 90 days).
