Guidelines for the Withdrawal of 2024 Spring Semester Course(s)



If you are unable to continue taking classes due to unavoidable reasons, please submit the withdrawal application form within the designated period following the guidance provided. It is important to note that the withdrawal schedule for graduate courses differs from that of undergraduate courses. Graduate students can only withdraw from courses during the graduate withdrawal period.


1. Application Period: April. 5 (Fri) 10:00 ~ April. 9 (Wed) 23: 59, 2024


2. How to Apply: Yonsei Portal > Academic Information System >Course > Student> Application for withdrawal of course


3. Remarks


- At least one course must remain registered after the withdrawal. In addition, a withdrawn course cannot be replaced by another class.

- Although a withdrawn class does not affect the GPA, 'W'(withdrawal) will appear as a remark for every withdrawn class on the official transcript. 'W' will still be reflected even if you retake the class.

- Tuition for withdrawn courses will not be refunded.

- Please confirm the record of the course withdrawal on the Yonsei Portal.
