[2024 Spring Semester Thesis Research Proposal Submission & Thesis Examiner Registration]

연합신학대학원 석·박사 학위논문 연구계획서 제출 대상자(재학생)께서는 다음의 안내를 참고하시어 기한 내 연구계획서 제출 및 논문 심사위원 등록을 완료하시기 바랍니다.

If you are eligible to submit a research proposal for Th.M. or Ph.D. degree at UGST, please follow the instructions below to submit your proposal and register your thesis examiners by the specified deadline.

※주의사항※ 

※ Important Notice※ 

- 휴학생은 학위논문 연구계획서 제출 및 논문심사가 불가합니다.

- Students on leave of absence are not permitted to submit a research proposal as well as to defend a thesis.

- 연구계획서를 제출한 후, 반드시 지도교수님께 학사포탈 승인요청을 하시기 바랍니다. 기간 내에 승인이 이루어지 않을 경우 연구계획서가 제출되지 않습니다.

- After submitting the research proposal, please make sure to request approval from your advising professor through the portal system. If approval is not obtained within the given period, the research proposal will not be considered submitted.

- 연구계획서 제출 시, 연구 시작일/종료일은 아래의 내용을 준수하여 주시기 바랍니다.

- When submitting the research proposal, please adhere to the following guidelines for the research start and end dates:

*연구 시작일: 연구계획서 제출 학기의 시작일(ex. 2024.03.04.)

*Research start date: The first day of the semester in which the research proposal is submitted (e.g., 2024.03.04.)

*연구 종료일: 논문심사 진행 예정 학기의 종료일(ex. 석사의 경우 2024.06.28./박사의 경우 2024.12.20)

*Research end date: The last day of the semester in which the thesis review is scheduled (e.g., for Master's students 2024.06.28./for Ph.D. students 2024.12.20)

1. 제출 기한

1. Submission Deadlines

가. 연구계획서 제출: 2024. 2. 15.(목) ~ 2024. 3. 15.(금)

a. Research Proposal Submission: February 15, 2024 (Thursday) to March 15, 2024 (Friday)

나. 논문 심사위원 등록: 연구계획서 제출 후 ~ 2024. 3. 15.(금)

b. Thesis Review Committee Registration: After submitting the research proposal until March 15, 2024 (Friday)

2. Submission Procedure

* 연세포탈서비스(portal.yonsei.ac.kr) 로그인 후 "학사정보시스템" 접속하여 제출

* Log in to Yonsei Portal Service (portal.yonsei.ac.kr) and submit via the "Academic Information System"

가. 영문 성명(여권과 동일) 점검

- 학사행정 > 학적 > 학생 > 학적정보조회 메뉴에서 영문 성명 확인 후 정정이 필요한 경우 '학적부 기재 정정 신청' 메뉴를 통해 신청

a. Check English Name (Must match the passport)

Go to "Academic Information > Academic Affairs> Academic Basic info > School Register Info” in the menu to verify your English name. If a correction is necessary, proceed to apply through the "Application for Correction of Student Register" menu.

나. 졸업 심사유형 지정

- 학사행정 > 졸업 > 학생 > 졸업심사유형지정 메뉴에서 졸업 심사유형을 '학위논문'으로 지정 후 저장

※ 연합신학대학원은 세부전공이 없으므로 '세부전공: 미지정' 상태로 저장

b. Designate Graduation Review Type

Go to "Academic Information > Graduation > Students > Designation of Graduation Review Type" in the menu. Select "Thesis" as the graduation review type and save your choice.

※ As the UGST does not offer sub-majors, please select "Sub-major: Not Specified" when saving.

다. 연구계획서 제출

- 학사행정 > 졸업 > 학생 > 연구계획서 제출 메뉴 접속하여 학위논문 연구윤리 준수 서약에 동의한 후 연구계획서 작성

- 논문지도교수 및 논문 정보란을 빠짐없이 입력한 후 제출 버튼 클릭하여 최종 제출

c. Submitting the Research Proposal

- Go to the " Academic Information > Graduation > Students > Research Proposal Submission" in the menu. First, agree to the pledge of compliance with research ethics for your thesis. Then, proceed to write your research proposal.

- Ensure you have accurately entered all details regarding your thesis advisor and the thesis information. Once completed, click the submit button to finalize your submission.

※ 논문 연구 착수일 및 종료일은 연구계획서를 제출하는 학기 초부터 본심사가 진행되는 학기 말까지 설정

※ The thesis research start and end dates should be set from the beginning of the semester in which the research proposal is submitted to the end of the semester in which the final review takes place.

※ 최종 제출 후에는 수정할 수 없으므로 제출에 유의하여 주시기 바랍니다.

※ Please be careful when submitting as you cannot make changes after the final submission.

※ 박사과정은 <붙임1>의 '콜로키움 발표신청서'를 작성하여 첨부파일란에 첨부한 후 제출해야 함(필수). 연구계획서를 제출한 학기에는 콜로키움을 진행하고, 그 다음 학기부터 논문 예·본심을 받을 수 있음.

- 학생이 제출한 연구계획서는 지도교수 및 연합신학대학원의 결재를 거쳐 승인됨.

※ It is mandatory for Ph.D. students to complete the 'Colloquium Presentation Application Form' found in <Attachment 1>, attach it in the designated attachment section, and submit. The colloquium is required to be conducted in the same semester as the research proposal submission. Preliminary and final thesis reviews will then be eligible for scheduling in the subsequent semester.

- The research proposal submitted by the student will be approved after being reviewed and signed by the advising professor and the UGST.

라. 논문 심사위원 등록

d. Registering Thesis Review Committee

- 학사행정 > 졸업 > 학생 > 논문심사위원등록 메뉴에서 심사위원 등록한 후 제출(<붙임2>의 매뉴얼 참고)

- Register the review committee members under "Academic Information > Graduation > Students > Thesis Review Committee Registration" and submit (refer to the manual in <Attachment 2>).

※ 석사는 논문지도교수 및 심사위원 모두 입력

※ For master's students, enter both the thesis advisor and review committee members.

※ 박사는 심사위원 미정 시 논문 지도교수만 입력하고(필수) 나머지 심사위원은 다음 학기에 입력 가능

※ For Ph.D. students, if the review committee members are undecided, only enter the thesis advisor (mandatory) and the rest of the committee members can be entered in the following semester.

3. Other Important Notes

- 지난 학기 종합시험에 합격한 박사과정생은 이번 학기 반드시 학위논문 연구계획서를 제출해야 합니다(이번 학기 콜로키움 발표 후 논문 심사는 그 다음 학기부터 가능).

- Doctoral students who passed the comprehensive exam last semester are required to submit their thesis research proposal this semester (thesis review can be conducted from the next semester after the colloquium presentation this semester).

- "논문" 과목(6학점)을 수강신청하지 않은 학생은 논문 심사를 받을 수 없습니다. 이번 학기 논문 심사를 받으실 예정인 경우 포탈에서 논문 과목을 수강신청한 상태여야 합니다.

- Students who have not enrolled in the "Thesis" course (6 credits) will not be eligible for the thesis review. If you plan to undergo the thesis review this semester, make sure you are enrolled in the thesis course via the portal.

- 학위논문 예비심사 및 본심사에 관한 안내는 본 홈페이지를 통해 별도로 공지할 예정입니다.

- Information regarding the preliminary and final thesis reviews will be separately announced on the official website.
