Focus Studies

On the basis of the following principles, GIT offers 3 collective areas of the study focus. The specific study focus can be chosen with the discussion with your academic advisors with whom students have the independent study class for master thesis or doctoral dissertation.

Intensive Courses

In every semester, GIT offers 4-8 one-month ling “Intensive Classes.” All students are required to take 2 core-seminar classes per semester. According to the focus area of students, they have option to take 2 classes per semester among the other intensive classes. GIT student is required to take 4 intensive classes in his/her focus study area (ABC) to complete the coursework. These intensive focus classes can be substituted by the classes at Yonsei United Graduate School of Theology (semester-long classes) upon the permission of the academic advisor.
